Final 3D Show Live Performance!

Last night Tokio Hotel did a live performance after the final showing of the 3D Virtual Tour thing at Showcase in Paris, France. Showcase is a nightclub bult into the Pont Alexandre III bridge and has a clear view of the Eiffel tour. From what I’ve heard the venue was beautiful, but I can’t say that for the whole thing.

Apparently the event was a complete mess. What I’m about to say is all second-hand information, as I wasn’t there.

First of all, the organization was terrible! Ticket holders were only informed a day or two before with the event details, and getting into the venue was very unorganized. The venue was far too small for the amount of people let in, and they threatened to cancel it at least once after everyone had been let into the venue. They showed a few 3D songs because the boys actually went on-stage, but the overcrowding of the venue completely ruined any possibility of a good experience. The boys played Übers Ende Der Welt, Schwarz, and Automatisch.

Does hearing about this bring back the nightmares we heard about (and some of you experienced) during the past few concert tours? I was hoping their new concert organizers would change this, but so far it seems like that hasn’t happened. If you were at the event last night, please let us know your thoughts!

Videos from the event are below.

I welcome a chance to see TH in the US and wouldn’t dare complain about it. I went all the way to NYC from Houston Texas just to see them for a very short time at the cd signing. The organization was amazing. No problems at all. It was a dream come true!

  3. It’s just like they told! I was there. I’m from Belgium but I went because I won a Meet and Greet. During the 3D Concert, they had to stop it before the last song because it was going nutz! Everybody was pushing against each other. These fans were so wild. My friend and I decided to go to the back, because they were way to wild. About the Live concert I can’t say much ’cause I just heard them and couldn’t see them cause all arms were up with cameras xP It was madness! The Meet and Greet went very good. I’m glad I had this. If would have come without a Meet and Greet, I think I would have cried because of the crazyness and not couldn’t see them. But I’m still glad to know that TH still have their fans xD But as I said, because the Meet and Greet, it was the greatest night of my life for me!

  4. @KimiTomiDoll: for the meet and greet how did you even find out about it ?
they have all these meet and greets and i always wonder how people end up finding out about it and then winn.
    i wanna find out ! =(

  5. @KimiTomiDoll: @shruti: YES!! It’s true!! I always heard and read about the meet and greets, and never being able to see where we can apply for this!! Thanks!!!

  6. Look at my video of the singing session =D :

  7. Theres really no “cure” for the overcrowding in TH concerts. its not the organizers fault, its the fans fault. EVERYONE is pushing and shoving and screaming and trying to get to the front, i would know i almost died from being crushed at a TH concert. TH could have a concert out in a field somewhere and there would still be pushing, shoving and screaming. Its what TH fans do. Everyone wants to get within arms reach of the boys and PUSHING to the front is the only way besides meet and greets, which only a few fans get to expierence.

  8. According to one of the leaders of the Dutch Streetteam who was there, the venue was big enough and there was enough security but it was the behaviour of the fans that was the big problem. Those fans truly freaked the organisation out.

She also said that because the stage was so low, maybe only the first two rows could’ve actually seen something.

And those stupid fans were angry because TH only played 3 songs. Like WTF! I would’ve glady see them, even if it was only for 3 songs. Ungrateful bastards.

(Another girl also said it wasn’t true that venue was too small. She said there was enough space in the back and on the sides and they even let waiting parents in because of all the space left.)

You can hire new organisations all you want, but if the fans act all insane, nothing will help.

  9. @ StrawberrSky. EXACTLYY!!!!! Its not the organizers fault, or securities fault. Fans are CRAZY, and in my opinion ungrateful and disrespectful.

  10. I’m French boy and I won. I’m 19 years old and I’m not an hysteric. I paid several hundred euros and waited outside all day for 3 songs. I have hardly seen the TH because the 3D was horrible and I have to go to the back of the venue because of that.

You were not in the venue that night. You don’t know how it happened. So please… keap your “ungrateful bastards” for you.

  11. That stinks that the event didn’t go all that well D; But I LOVEEE Automatisch live in acoustic <3 I hope they do that in tour concerts!

  12. Man that sucks. I wouldn’t go as far as to call those fans ungrateful bastards, I think they were just disappointed because their concert experience was ruined. Hell, I’d be really disappointed if something like that happened to me.
I hope future shows and concerts run smoothly next time and fans learn some self control and tone it down a bit so everyone can have a good time.

  13. @TomTom
Believe me, I’m far from the onlyone to call those fans insane and ungrateful. At least TH came to you. The other countries only had the 3D, no TH whatsoever. We’ll only be seeing them for the tour.
So yeah, if you get to see them, no matter how long you had to wait, and people start complaining too, than I will call them ungrateful bastards, because it’s pissing me off. It’s your decision if you want to get offended by it.

(and so you waited all day. Last year, people slept for two weeks in front of a venue only to find out TH wouldn’t come anymore. It was when Bill got sick. So don’t even trip about waiting for a couple of songs)

  14. In the U.S. where everyone sues everyone, I hope their concert mgmt team are a bit more on top of the game. Bands have been sued when fans get hurt. Never mind the fact that the fans are the ones that are hurting themselves and others.
