Is “World Behind My Wall” the Second Single?

Evidence is beginning to surface to suggest that “World Behind My Wall”/”Lass Uns Laufen” is the second single from Humanoid. Apparently Polydor has posted on the Official French Forum saying that it is set to be the second single, and if you check Tokio Hotel’s Official Site you’ll hear that the “Automatic”/”Automatisch” clip has been replaced with “World Behind My Wall”/”Lass Uns Laufen”.
I think this is very probable, especially with the upcoming performance on November 5th at the MTV EMAs 2009 in Berlin, Germany. I’ve been predicting for months that they’d play “World Behind My Wall” to commemorate the 20th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall and they could use that performance to promote the single as well.

Peresonally was hoping for Dark Side of the Sun (maybe that’ll be another single down the road xD) But I love nonetheless!! World Behind My Wall is beautiful and it will make a spectacular performance too!!

and another reason why I think it could be world behind my wall is because they used that song in the latest THTV and usaully they use automatic or maybe humanoid but this time they used wbmy…..

I’m fairly certain WBMW is the next single. It’s too much a coincidence that Automatic (the first single) played every time you went on the official website and that now it’s World Behind My Wall.

German group in Berlin singing about World behind my Wall… That would be such amazingly emotional performance. They should put footage from 1989 on the screens behind them.
I am glad it WBMW as a new single. But I also think that album is so good it’s can be any song really.
We all take different meaning from a song & I know it has to do with perhaps the down side of fame for you the 4 band members, but for me its profound in another way.
In fact the “WALL” is not so much just a physical wall .. the wall of insecurity, fear of failure, lack…… etc
World Behind my Wall is my favorite track off of the Humanoid album.

i’m so annoyed with foreigners pissing out over this song. “omg this song is about a wall and since they’re german it MUST be about the berlin wall!” The german song has nothing about a wall so shut the fuck up and stop embarrassing us.jeez.
@tascha: I know what it’s about, I’ve heard Bill describe it. But I think it definitely has allusions to the Berlin Wall. Not just because they’re Germans, but because it was a major event in the world. The wall represented a massive conflict that had a huge impact on Europe and the rest of the world for decades.
Yay! it’s a good song. It’s one of my favorites besides “Phantomrider”. It’ll be a great single, can’t wait!.

I don’t think you should draw conclusions that fast. First of all, Polydor hasn’t got much to do with Tokio Hotel. The boys are not signed with them. And the clip Automatic has been replaced for is just THTV that also feautures other songs in it.
It could be that World Behind My Wall/Lass uns Laufen might be the new single but I think you could still hope for another single. (* crosses fingers for Screamin’ *)

I think you are the one who is embarrassing yourself. We are talking about English version, first of all, and if your imagination is limited to except, that WBMW could be positive message about 1989, than it’s your problem. I lived behind Iron Curtain in former USSR. Fall of Berlin wall had a huge impact on my country just like on the rest of the world. So we all have as much rights ‘pissing’, as you said, over this song. I wish you would think before you post something so offending.
Oh, just little more. I know that “Wind of change” by Scorpions is the only song that will be always associating with Fall of the wall. I am still having goose bumps when I am listening to that song. And WBMW will never reach such an iconic status. But it’s still very emotional song with great message that many can relate to. So, suck it up, tasha, and enjoy new single

well i think the music video is going to be a beautiful combo of that piece of world history and their life story. so
Tokio hotel have great songs in both german and english. I personally think world behind my wall is more about an emotional journwy, an emotional wall holding him back from people etc, past hurts etc. and them/him/whoever it was written about being ready now to step beyond that wall and live without fear. the ema performance was brilliant, and no one can deny that it tied in great with the aniversary of the fall of the wall, and i reckon the video would be awsome if it included some historic things about the wall, i mean since when are music videos only what the song is about? screamn is myfav personally, i think, they all rock. what do you think will be the third, know we know the second?
