Mexico: All the Info

As I’m sure you’ve all heard by now, Tokio Hotel will be going to Mexico at the end of the month to play a show. We’ve finally got all the information, so here are the main points:

  • Organized by two radio stations - 97.7FM.
  • It will be a festival-type event where a number of bands will be playing and Tokio Hotel will be one of them.
  • Tickets will be acquired through games on 97.7FM and 91.3FM Alfa Radio, and they may be given out around the city.
  • There will be a Meet & Greet on August 29th at 7:00PM in Square Cuicuilco.
  • The festival will be held on August 30th.

Ok so, besides my HUGE preocupation of not getting tickets…here I come with some information in case anyone wants to participate (SOMEHOW) and get tickets (and help my pathetic soul!!!)

Sources are www.997.com.mx and Universal Group Mexico (do you need anything else? duh)

They will be here on August 30th (this date hasn’t been confirmed yet), the day of the concert, and we don’t know if they’re going to make something else (WTF a concert isn’t enough? NO IT ISN’T)

Anyways, there are two radio stations organizing this (it’s not exclusive for Mexico City, but if you win not being from the city, you’ll have to pay for your trip obviously, lol. I don’t know if they are indeed giving tickets for people outside the country, but SPANISH is needed to be understood and spoken if you want to answer the questions correctly [they are not Tokio Hotel related LAME I know], besides you have to put attention to the program 100% because sometimes they ask how the opened the program or which were the 6 soings they just played, or the scientific name of the crocodile :S WTF I know…Also it’s not a 100% TH concert, it’ll be like MTV Day concert at Spain and you’ll have to tolerate the worst bands we have here in Mexico, I hate them xD).

SO!! The radio stations organizing this is 97.7 and 91.3 Alfa Radio, the only way to win tickets is calling and/or hunt for their cars all over the city (not a good idea). If you want to call 91.3 Alfa Radio station, you’ll need to have an Alfa card, or you won’t be able to receive your price (LAME). How to get one Alfa Card? Look for the Alfa car all over the city, yeah, exciting =_=

Please, this is something that hasn’t been confirmed yet but it’s worth to be mentioned! It seems that Alfa Radio is organizing a Meet & Greet, so be aware of it while listening to the programs! If you’re not form Mexico City or the Country you can listen to the radio stations online, if you have any doubt about their schedules or something, you can leave a message here or ask me via mail to crazy_ritsuka_asakura@hotmail.com

http://www.radiocentro.com/ is the page, click on Alfa Radio or 97.7, depending on what you want to listen. I prefer Alfa Radio because in 97.7 they only play music in spanish (UGLYLAMEMUSICBTW), but we haven’t confirmed if they’re also giving tickets at Alfa Radio.

Also there’s a rumor about 97.7 cars all over the city on August 13th, giving tickets as if they were candies. This is to be confirmed by us (aka ONITTH, One Night in The Tokio Hotel, aka official club here in Mexico).

    The gig is organized by 97.7 dunno about alfa radio but the “GRAN CONCIERTO” (yeah that’s the name) will be on August 30 in Palacio de Los Deportes in Mexico City, and about agust 13th they say something bout that on the radio so pay attention and please if someone knows if they’ll be on tv please let me know in my metroflog or if u just wanna ask something!!!
