Monsoon not in Rock Band 2

Joystiq is reporting that Monsoon will not be in Rock Band 2. As some of you may know, when Rock Band 2 is released you will be able to transfer songs from Rock Band to Rock Band 2, but there seem to be four songs that cannot be transferred. Those songs are: “Enter Sandman” by Metallica, “Paranoid” by Black Sabbath (cover), “Run to the Hills” by Iron Maiden (cover) and “Monsoon” by Tokio Hotel.

The reason for Monsoon not being able to be transferred is the fact that the makers of Guitar Hero have licensed the song to be in Guitar Hero World Tour.

    geez the only reason i was gonna get rockband 2 was to play monsoon..but i guess i’ll just get GHWT instead. its better anyway because u only really need one person to play unlike rockband, where to be really fun, you need multiple players.

    It is unfortunate that you cant transfer “Monsoon” to RB2 from RB1. But fear not its possible to download “ready set go!”

    monsoon actually was transferred. i bought it when i had rock band one, and when i got rock band two, it was still there. no need to feel sad!
