Performance on “El Evento 40″ in Mexico!

Tokio Hotel are performing at “El Evento 40″ in Mexico at 6PM local time tonight. The event is taking place at the Estadio Azteca in Mexico City, Mexico. I have very little information about this event, but for a live feed, go here. The feed may or may not work… I’ll update the post if I see their performance and hear more about it.

UPDATE1: They haven’t performed yet, but they will be soon!

UPDATEx2 (10PM ET): I think Tokio Hotel will be performing last. They still haven’t performed yet.

UPDATEx3 (10:27PM ET): Tokio Hotel are performing RIGHT NOW!

UPDATEx4 (10:30PM ET): Just played “Automatic”. Playing “World Behind My Wall” now. It’s all playback.

UPDATEx5 (10:35PM ET): Playing “Ready, Set, Go!”

UPDATEx6 (10:38PM ET): They went to commercial near the end of “Ready, Set, Go!”. Don’t know if they’re playing more after that…

UPDATEx7: Yup, it’s over.

    OMFG!!! I tuned in JUST in time to see them perform all three songs!! I am blessed, it was amazing

    Bill looked awesome as usual. The sound quality was pretty bad on the live feed. Not sure if it was playback or not, but it was great to hear Ready, Set Go again. It seems to sound so different from the new stuff, loved it!!!!!!

    …Aaah it was all playback blaah! But They were great anyway! And Bill looked so HOTT! (as always)! The only issue was those random…mexican hosts…um that completely interupted TH! like really??

    I think they didn’t have time for sound check so they had to do a playback for time.

    Yes,it looks like playback for sure.But we have to realize that they can’t travel all over the place with all their equipment just to do a 2 or 3 song promo. I’m sure that the fans there were elated just to see them and didn’t care if it was playback or not.
    Regardless,Gustav was going nuts on those drums again!!! When doing playback the drummer still has to play.

    Man I can’t believe they even cut them off a while they were playing half of the song of “Ready Set Go” I mean really, really?. Those reporters just needed to go away!.

    whatevs..no soundcheck.. we get it..they had to do playback
    but if they perform on los premios telehit the day after tomorrow I am PRAYING they don’t do playback.. the telehit channel is shown in about 60 countries..that would just suck IMO -_-

    @Marc: yeah i think so, plus i dont watch tv, so there’s no way i would know.

    No offence but, it’s Mexico, we do have a lot of mistakes, and more in planning ‘massive’ events like this one. I havent seen it, but apparently they got cut off in the middle of a song so, That’s rude people rude!

    So the Telehit awards are on Nov. 12th, mmm.. I must say, those are some shitty awards made by a shitty music channel. But, if i can i will watch it.

    I dont know the rules about using playback or not, sometimes the artist choose, what if Bill didnt want to waste his voice in this show, he will wait for the awards haha. Who knows, in any case, i just want to see them. on Tv of course, i wont be able to gooo, ah God why did i write so much. :D

    @anibeli hmm maybe they’re trying to use TH to improve those awards?
    & Gah, I missed it too -curses homework- Can’t wait to see it on Utub XD & it annoys me loads when they cut to commercial too early >;o In Ontario it happens quite a bit too cause things have to switch to a Canadian broadcasting channel, and sometimes the US channel is lagging a little, and then it switches and it cuts stuff out =’( lmao. Yeah /rant
