Recognise Any of These Producer’s Names?

You don’t even have to say it, I know you’re all getting tired of Adam Lambert, but seeing how there’s no news today and I find this really funny, I had to share it!
One of the songs on Adam Lambert’s new album For Your Entertainment is called “Master Plan”, but when a fan looked a little deeper into the details she found a similarity to Tokio Hotel! Most of the producers listed for that song (I believe it was a bonus on the iTunes version of the album) are the same producers listed on Tokio Hotel’s songs: Dave Roth, David Jost, Ryan Tedder & Patrick Benzner. The only one of those names that doesn’t appear on every song on the Humanoid album is Ryan Tedder, but Universal did say the boys collaborated with him.
Now we have to speculate. Was “Master Plan” one of the songs that didn’t make the cut for Humanoid? It definitely sounds like it could have fit. Did Adam Lambert seek out Tokio Hotel’s producers to help him with a song? Possibly. Is Adam Lambert’s master plan to be the next Tokio Hotel, or by extension Bill Kaulitz? Haha, I had to go there.

Quite honestly I am ill with irritation that everyone insists on polarizing artists as either ‘originals’, ‘copycats’, or ‘pathetic ‘fanboys’. Similarities are inevitable— there is only so much creativity in the great pool of consciousness. As humans we adore drawing parallels so it ought to be either a positive thing when they crop up or just null information. Tokio Hotel is incredible and unique, yes, but we should not beat our shields because producers work for multiple artists (as they ALWAYS do) or because Adam is inspired by Bill. If you like him then rejoice in his work. If you do not like Adam then go ahead and do not like him. Don’t act as if him crushing on Bill is going to make an ounce of difference either way and leave the man alone! And furthermore do not pull CInema Bizarre into the mix as another example of ‘oh so evil theft’. Have you ever listened to the entirety of either of their albums? They’re nothing like Tokiio Hotel musically or lyrically and if you want to have an eye for an eye they did sci-fi first. No one is a true original these days and if inspiration is shared more power to the good ideas! This verbal mutilation and controversy is growing ridiculous. There is enough negativity in the world without us constantly being in arms over admiration, coincidences, and resemblances between loosely or entirely unrelated artists.

Personally, I don’t like Adam as a person nor do I like his music but you can’t deny the song is good. His voice fits.
I think Adam is copying Bill, bu there are one thing he will never be able to copy. Bill’s natural sexiness. Adam is always showing his sexual sides on stage, in interviews and in his songs. So many people find him sexy.
And then we have Bill. He is poosible a virgin, he hasn’t kissed anyone in 5 years and is looking for love at first sight. So why is he the person who can turn anyone on by one simple look? He is just naturally a sexbomb. And NOBODY can ever be like him. Not even Adam.
Wow Kristin I love your comment! I’ve never heard this song, but you can’t deny the boy’s talent. And as far as his crush on Bill, I think its cute. I mean who doesn’t have a crush in Bill? (sigh)

I love both Adam and Bill, but some of the people in here really like to jump to conclusions think that Adam copy Bill’s style or that fact that he wants to be the “next” TH (WTF?) are really really! stupid and they just make me laugh. I mean where in the hell did Bill got his inspiration from as well? don’t go blaming Adam, for your obsession of Bill because honestly that’s just pathetic.
@kristin have you even seen his performances before? because if you say he acts “sexy” all the time then I’m guessing you are talking about that AMA performance he did huh?. Hmm.. you do realize that was his FIRST live performance after idol! like live on national TV. So I don’t think you even saw his idol performances at all.
Thank you to Peter for being one of the few rational people here that make any sense at all. Having opinions does not mean you have to insult someone and resort to verbal attacks. Leave Adam alone. He isn’t copying TH. And let’s say he is..people would figure out how ridiciulousy similar he is to TH, which means that it doesn’t even affect them negatively. So I don’t see why some ppl here are so mad.

Ryan Tedder is just an amazing song writer. I remember last year there was a post from some other Tokio Hotel site showing an interview with Ryan Tedder saying he wanted to work with Tokio Hotel. I’m glad it finally happened! Hopefully, whatever he did with Adam turns out just as well as his other stuff.

I liked Adam when he was on Idol, but now he’s kind of….a creep.
I really do believe that the track was intended for TH. Every other explanation seems too unlikely and random. If that’s the case, I’m a little annoyed because I would prefer Bill singing it. I’m just trying to figure out how Adam got it. My curiosity is killin’ me. I know producers aren’t limited to one artist, but Jost, Roth and Benzner are like the TH Dream Team. I find it a little odd that they would randomly write a song for Adam. Ryan Tedder writes songs for almost everyone, so that’s more believable. This whole thing is just so weird to me. o_O

there was suposed to be one more song on the humanoid album, possible that master plan was part of the original plan of the cd
